The DP Sprint is free entry for all spectators.  Racing starts at 9am ends at 1pm on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th of August 2025.  The start and finish area for all dog teams is to the left of the Dinner Plain front entry.

This will be the best place for spectators to view the dog teams. We have 70+ dog teams competing in, so come down and check out all the action.

So come and join the fun.  Expect lots of dog noise with hundreds of very excited sled dogs.  Feel free to take photos and videos.  Stick around after the racing has finished and have a chat so some of the mushers and be prepared to give some belly rubs and get some Husky cuddles in return.

And finally we ask that you DO NOT bring your own dog/s to the event.  The sled dogs are working breeds and we do not want to distract them from competing.
